Most of the swim field will be social/recreational swimmers. If you can swim the distance you have entered competently in the ocean, then you’ll be fine. See question below re cut off times.

Everything is relaxed in Fiji (they call it Fiji time!) and so will we be, but if you’re still in the water after our official time cut offs, we’ll need to give you a quick lift into our safety boat, so you are nearer to the finish line to finish. Official time cut offs will depend on the distance of the swims but are unlikely to affect even the most recreational (slower) swimmers finishing.

Absolutely, there will be plenty for non-swimmers to do while swimmers do their thing including, beach time, relaxation, reading a book, supporting the swimmers and more.

There will be tender boats and stand up paddle boards with first aid qualified cruise staff on board to keep an eye on you while you swim. We will have a trained medic available to assist if needed. Please note our safety plans are a service to you and not a guarantee of your safety and well-being.

The date for final payment is 20 February 2026.

Wetsuits are optional – but we strongly suggest you won’t need it. The water temperature
averages a minimum of 26 degrees in July.

Minimum age for Ocean Swim Fiji Cruise is 18 years on 26 July 2026.

Guests need to be mobile enough to move around the boat easily including getting up and
